The World: Brick by Brick

THE WORLD: BRICK BY BRICK

"Little by little, one travels far"
                   ~J.R.R. Tolkien

'The World: Brick by Brick' is a side project that
will parallel all of my travels. When I was a kid,
I always loved LEGOs... and without a doubt I
still do, so I wanted to take that iconic part of
my childhood with me as I tour the world.

Not to bore you all with sappy
1980's-kid's-show-esque metaphors:
But LEGOs are a lot like life.
You have an end result, the completed set.
It looks magnificent and detailed...
Yet it's made of countless little pieces.
Life on the grand scale is quite epic...
Yet as whole, our lives are the culminations
of small and large experiences.
Every meal, vacation, friend, every   awkward attempt to ask
a girl I like to hang out...
Those are all the little bricks that
make up the finished product of your life.
How's that for contemporary philosophy?

So here I am! With 3 custom mini- figures and a camera at my side...
I'm about to bring you the world: Brick by Brick.
